Everybody has abs but most people have fat covering it, some people have more fat covering it than others. All you have to do is lower your body fat percentage to the single digits and your abs will appear. The way to lower your body fat percentage is to eat fewer calories than your body needs. Its that simple, there is no magic fat burning pill or best workout. Remember, it all comes down to your daily calories so your body fat percentage lowers.
If you want to win the heart of the fairest lady in the party, you may need to do more than just get a flat tummy. You may need to double the reps and the intensity of the workout for abs you do and aim for that six-pack after a certain period of time. Of course, this demands a little more determination from your part but just think of the rewards you can get afterwards and you would certainly not mind the sacrifices at all.
To get 6 pack abs it would be best to get some abdominal exercises in. That is pretty obvious, right? Six pack exercises can be brutal on the stomach but they do their job. Finding those workouts for abs is not too difficult. Crunches are a long time favorite for many; one could also try a lying bicycle, twisted crunches, or a jackknife. There is a plethora of ab workouts one could look into and do right in their own home.
Several variations of this exercise can be done to change the resistance and add more challenge to your workout. Instead of supporting your weight with your knees, try to support your body with your feet. Alternately, you can have one leg and one knee as a support. However, if there is pain in your lower back, immediately stop what you are doing to prevent injuries.
Rowing machine – The rowing machine isn’t as popular as it should be and that’s a shame because rowing is a great way to get a strength workout and a cardio workout at the same time. You work the arms, shoulders, and back and burn a lot of calories. You also tone your upper body as your shed body fat.
Another excellent technique is to eat 5-6 small meals instead of three large meals in a day. This will help ensure that you do not experience hunger pangs and grab fatty snacks in between meals. The ideal ratio for each of your meals is one part fats, two parts protein, and three parts carbohydrates. This is, however, not a strict guideline and you can vary it a little bit. For example, it is advisable to take in more protein and carbohydrates after exercise. Finally, never forget to supplement your diet with a daily dose of multivitamins.
Treadmill – I’m sure you already knew that, but the treadmill holds a place of honor among cardio machines because running is a fantastic cardio workout which works the entire body and helps you burn a lot of body fat. You can also walk on a treadmill which is also a perfectly good workout.
